# Human Performance in the AI Era

## How can leaders use AI without outsourcing their judgement?

Leaders and engineers use AI, and most of them don't get back the capacity they expected. The talk has two parts. AI as a Capacity Multiplier: we redesign leadership work so AI removes the low-value cognitive effort, and the time it frees goes to work that needs a human leader. Human Judgement in the AI Era: we define where AI can support a leadership decision, and where human judgement, challenge and accountability have to stay.

You walk out with the /critical skill, an AI thinking partner that scores any plan or decision from 0 to 10 and names what breaks. AI then challenges your judgement instead of replacing it.

## Why this talk, not a generic version of it

A generic version of this talk is a tour of tools and prompts. This one starts from the leader's week and asks which parts AI can take over, and which decisions stay with a person even when the model has a good answer. The second part is the harder one. A model tends to agree with whoever is asking, so a leader who lets it decide mostly gets their own opinion back, faster and better formatted.

Built for leaders and senior engineers who use AI and don't see the capacity they expected. As a keynote it covers both parts. As a workshop each part gets its own session, and each team leaves with its own line drawn: what goes to AI, what stays with a human, and who stays accountable for it. The close is the /critical skill, which scores the plan from 0 to 10 and names what breaks.
